On September 17th, Sun Group and BrauKon & Camba, a renowned German brand specializing in beer production, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to develop the premium craft beer line, Sun KraftBeer, and expand the craft brewery model with state-of-the-art production lines.

 

Under the agreement, both parties will strengthen their strategic cooperation to focus on researching and developing the Sun KraftBeer brand – Sun Group’s own beer line, as well as pioneering the development of Vietnam’s leading high-end craft brewery model. The first significant achievement of this strategic partnership is the launch of the Ba Na Brew House, located on the peak of Ba Na Mountain, which has recently commenced operations. This marks the beginning of the journey to conquer the high-end craft beer market in Vietnam, with cooperation and advice from BrauKon & Camba.   At Ba Na Brew House, beer is brewed, cooked, and packaged according to Camba (Bavaria)’s centuries-old formula, which has won 25 awards for the best beer in Europe and the world. This is also a craft brewery equipped with the world’s most advanced and modern machinery, provided by BrauKon.

“We are confident that Braukon & Camba will bring significant differences to Sun KraftBeer in the Vietnamese market because in addition to providing exclusive brewing formulas, we also manufacture and distribute brewing equipment. This is the foundation for producing good beer, and of course, good beer will be successful,” Mr. Markus Mathias Lohner affirmed.

 

A significant highlight of the cooperation agreement between Sun Group and BrauKon & Camba is the introduction of Ba Na Brew House – the highest-altitude brewery in Vietnam with an expected annual production of 2.7 to 5 million liters. Continuing the pioneering journey with this captivating flavor, Phu Quoc Brew House is expected to be inaugurated in December 2024 with a scale and capacity similar to Ba Na Brew House, promising to continue bringing premium and emotional beer experiences to visitors to Phu Quoc Island.

According to the leadership of Sun Group, in the next 10 years, Sun KraftBeer will continue to conquer more regions in Vietnam with the launch of unique craft breweries with original German technology with a capacity of 5 to 10 million liters per year, gradually marking Sun Group’s journey to conquer the craft beer market in Vietnam.
